Skills Development Scotland pay a contribution towards the cost of a modern apprenticeship and all candidates should register with them on the My World of Work site.

Data Protection Act 1998 Should your application be successful your details will passed to Awarding Bodies, Skill sectors, Skills development Scotland (SDS) and other Bodies for the purpose of monitoring, registering and auditing. Should your application be unsuccessful it will be held until the Equal Opportunities Audit has been completed. Please be aware that we may contact you from time to time to check your current employment status. If you are successful, XL Training will provide you with a relevant Apprenticeship SVQ/NVQ based on your job role. Any communications sent to us on your behalf will be opened and forwarded to you in due course.

SDS have stated that these programmes are exempt from the Age Discrimination Law. XL Training are contracted to SDS to deliver funded programmes, 16–24years old, Modern Apprenticeships.
